Memorial University of Newfoundland's new Animal Research Centre (ARC) will house research in the fields of Biomedical Science, Psychology, Biotechnology & Neuroscience. Located adjacent to the Health Sciences Complex (HSC), the new building will replace aging facilities within the HSC.

The new facility will accommodate researchers from across the campus in a collaborative, efficient, inspiring work space. The multi-species facility will accommodate mice, rats, swine, and woodchucks.

The design of the multi-storey building connects with the existing facilities, accommodates future expansion on adjacent sites for MUN’s Health Sciences program as well as possible future expansion of the ARC.
